Standards & Materials

Buttwelding fittings follow ASME B16.9 (NPS 1/2–48) in carbon steel ASTM A234 WPB (-29°C to 425°C), stainless A403 WP304 / WP316 (up to 538°C) and low-temperature A420 WPL6. Forged fittings follow ASME B16.11 (NPS 1/8–4): threaded ends in Classes 2000 / 3000 / 6000, socket-weld ends in Classes 3000 / 6000 / 9000, in ASTM A105 carbon steel or A182 F304 / F316 stainless.

Every order can be supplied with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates, heat-number traceability and third-party inspection (SGS / BV / TUV). Pipe unions, threaded nipples and lap-joint stub ends complete the range for maintenance and OEM applications.

FAQ

What sizes do ASME B16.9 fittings cover?

Factory-made buttwelding fittings from NPS 1/2 through NPS 48, with some types to NPS 60 by agreement.

What pressure classes apply to B16.11 forged fittings?

Threaded-end fittings: Classes 2000, 3000 and 6000. Socket-weld-end fittings: Classes 3000, 6000 and 9000.

Which material should I choose?

A234 WPB carbon steel for general service (-29°C to 425°C), A403 WP304 / WP316 for corrosive or higher-temperature service (up to 538°C), and A420 WPL6 for low-temperature service.

Eccentric or concentric reducer — which one for pump suction?

Use an eccentric reducer with the flat side on top for horizontal pump suction lines, to avoid air pockets; concentric reducers suit vertical lines.

Do you provide mill test certificates?

Yes — EN 10204 3.1 certificates covering chemistry and mechanical properties, with third-party inspection (SGS / BV / TUV) on request.
