Reducing Tees – Branch Size Reduction | ASME B16.9

PRODUCTS / REDUCING TEES

Reducing Tees

Branch size reduction for varied-flow piping systems.

A reducing tee joins a larger run pipe to a smaller branch, eliminating a separate reducer branch weld and saving space in pump discharge, instrument take-off and utility lines. YAJIADA manufactures reducing tees to ASME B16.9 in sizes from NPS 1/2" x 1/2" up to 48" x 36", covering common combinations of run and branch diameters.

Materials include ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel, suitable for -29°C to 425°C service, A403 WP304/WP316/WP316L stainless for corrosive service, and A420 WPL6 for cryogenic and low-temperature piping to -46°C. Branch bore dimensions follow B16.9 schedules, with wall thickness held to match piping spec SCH 10S through SCH 160.

We provide EN 10204 3.1 MTC for every batch, with optional PMI, ultrasonic and radiographic inspection. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV can be witnessed before shipment. Reducing tees from YAJIADA are used across oil and gas, chemical processing, water treatment, pulp and paper, and power generation, with 15-30 day export delivery worldwide.

YAJIADA supports non-standard run-by-branch combinations and special wall thicknesses. Dimensional drawings are provided before production for EPC approval. Each reducing tee is stenciled with heat number and material grade, and packed in plywood cases with bevel-end protectors to avoid transit damage.
