Pipe Caps
Pipe end closures for pressure-containing applications.
A pipe cap closes the end of a piping system or nozzle, either temporarily during construction or permanently as a pressure boundary. YAJIADA supplies butt-weld caps to ASME B16.9 and threaded caps to ASME B16.11, in sizes from NPS 1/2" to 48".
Butt-weld caps are elliptical or dished head forms made by hot pressing, in ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel, A403 WP304/WP316/WP316L stainless steel and A420 WPL6 low-temperature grade rated to -46°C. Wall thickness follows B16.9 schedules with B16.25 bevel ends. Threaded caps are forged from A105 or A182 F316 with NPT ends for small-bore systems.
Each cap is supplied with EN 10204 3.1 MTC; optional PMI, hydrotest and SGS/BV/TUV witnessed inspection is available. Caps are widely used in oil and gas gathering, chemical plants, water treatment, power and marine piping, with standard export lead times of 15-30 days to 30+ countries. YAJIADA supports custom dished heads, elliptical or torispherical forms, and special wall thicknesses. Each cap is bevel-protected and stenciled with heat number and grade. We can bundle caps with matching flanges and gaskets for end-of-line closures, with combined export documentation to speed customs clearance and site assembly. For high-pressure boiler and vessel nozzles we supply caps with full radiography and hydrotest reports, and can provide dimensioned sketches for fabrication approval. Standard sizes are held in stock for quick dispatch, and custom heads are manufactured to your drawing within 20 days.
