Eccentric Reducers
Offset size reduction for pump suction and horizontal piping.
An eccentric reducer joins two pipes of different diameters with one flat side (flat-on-top or flat-on-bottom), preventing vapor or liquid pocket formation. YAJIADA manufactures eccentric reducers to ASME B16.9 from NPS 1/2" x 1/2" up to 36" x 24", in seamless and welded form.
Flat-on-bottom eccentric reducers are essential on horizontal pump suction lines to avoid air entrainment and cavitation; flat-on-top versions are used on lines draining to a vessel. Materials include ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel, A403 WP304/WP316/WP316L stainless steel, and A420 WPL6 low-temperature grade rated to -46°C. Wall thickness follows B16.9 schedules with B16.25 bevel ends.
Every reducer is supplied with EN 10204 3.1 MTC; optional PMI, UT and SGS/BV/TUV witnessed inspection is available. These fittings are widely used in oil and gas, chemical, water treatment, power and marine pumping systems, with standard export lead times of 15-30 days to 30+ countries. YAJIADA supports custom length reducers, special wall thickness and flat-on-top or flat-on-bottom orientation per your P&ID. Dimensional drawings are released for customer approval before forming. Each reducer is stenciled with heat number and material grade, and shipped with bevel-end protectors to prevent damage in transit. We can also supply eccentric reducers with taper-bored ends for pump suction applications, and bundle them with matching valves and gaskets for complete skid packages.
