A sight glass (flow indicator) provides visual inspection of liquid, gas or steam flow inside a pipeline without breaking pressure containment. YAJIADA supplies flanged and threaded sight glasses with borosilicate or tempered glass windows, available with single or double windows and optional flapper or ball indicators.
Body materials include carbon steel, 304/316 stainless steel and brass; connections match ANSI 150#/300# flanges or NPT threaded ends from NPS 1/2" to 4". Standard operating conditions cover temperatures up to 200°C and pressures up to Class 300#, with higher ratings available on request.
Sight glasses are essential in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, water treatment and pump-skid applications where operators must confirm flow direction, color or presence of media. Each sight glass is pressure-tested before dispatch and shipped in foam-protected cases. For high-temperature thermal-oil and steam applications we offer mica-shielded windows and metal-to-metal sealed bodies, with pressure ratings up to Class 600 on request.
